Missions

Imago Dei’s “Gospel Partners” are an invaluable asset in our mission to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We thank God for all of our mission partners, and we are committed to providing long-term support and care to our partners.

Imago Dei is committed to a careful and prayerful consideration of new gospel partners. We believe the best stewardship of Imago Dei’s resources is to support mission endeavors that:

  1. Reach the unreached;
  2. Plant churches;
  3. and those missionaries or ministries that come from within the membership of IDC.

IDC GOSPEL PARTNERS

Adoption Ministry

Imago Dei has launched an adoption ministry, and we have started this ministry by focusing on a particular adoption effort called The Second Story (www.thesecondstory.org).   Initiated by Embrace (www.embracetexas.org), the Second Story campaign is an effort to unite churches in this area to find a forever family for every waiting child in Collin County.

Gospel Partners in Asia (Names & Agency withheld)

IDC is also partnered with a team who is focused on sharing the truth and love of Christ with an unreached and unengaged people group in a remote area of Asia. This team is actively seeking individuals who can pray for their ministry efforts, and if you are interested in joining their prayer team, please contact the IDC Mission team at missions@idcmckinney.com and we will connect you with them.
